Councilwoman Marian Allen replaces Blake Levine on Board

Hattiesburg, MS (MAP News)- Councilwoman Marian Allen in recent weeks has been appointed as a new board member and will replace Blake Levine.

Blake Levine was appointed as a board member earlier this year when he was Sports Director for WJTV News in Jackson, MS. WJTV did not renew Blake's contract which led to Blake not being able to serve as a board member.

Marian Allen is the elected City Councilwoman for Ward 7 in the City of Laurel, Mississippi. She is also the Executive Director of the Laurel Jones County Black History Museum and Arts.

Marian has spent her life dedicated to advancing & helping children in Mississippi. She is a therapist and a Licensed Master Social Worker. She is a proud graduate of Tougaloo College.
